Turning our mistakes into something good..........

Playing rounders on the field this afternoon posed something of a challenge in this heat.  Wearing a black P.E. kit did not help either (note to self) as it just trapped the heat, but it was lovely to be outside making the most of the lesson.  Yesterday too was lovely and we took our sketch books out on to the field to sketch the landscape.  I added a twist by asking the children to leave their rubbers behind and instead turn their mistakes into something good.  They all said that although they initially found it hard to not have the security of  a rubber (eraser) to remove any errors / blemishes on their sketches they were glad to be able to turn their mistakes into something good.

Life can be like that too.  We can turn an unfavourable situation into a favourable one, turn a negative experience into a positive one......................................................

Thank goodness that with our Heavenly Father He took all that was not pleasing in our lives and made them pleasing.  When He sacrificed His only son He washed us clean, took away all the mistakes we had made, all the errors in our lives and gave us a clean slate.

How wonderful, how marvellous is my Saviour's love for me and today (day 185) I give Him sincere thanks.
