Walking Gracie to school in the morning is always something of an education! From the moment we leave our door step she begins .................. such is her thirst for knowledge about everything around her that she asks questions about everything.
This morning her curiosity was first about the 'For Sale' signs on a couple of driveways on our route. So I explained the purpose of the signs in the context of the entire conveyancing process. Next she wanted to know why cats sometimes hide under cars. After a discussion about the peculiar habits of aforementioned feline my girl then wanted to know how street lights knew when to come on and turn off!
I was exhausted by the time we get to school and it was only 8.40am. Thank goodness it is a very short walk for us!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Seriously though, I am thankful today (day 266) to be in the company of such an inquisitive, excitable young mind. Long may it continue!
