Sincere votes of thanks.........

Penultimate day of our hols.  Today (day 227) I thank you Lord on behalf of all the Ainas here present for a memorable two weeks.  We are thankful for the provision of finance, food, sun splashed days, hospitable hosts, leisurely, long walks (we are all pounds lighter................. yeah right), but most of all, for family fellowship and memories made that will last a life time.

The sun treated us to a spectacular display , 35° C, I am thankful for air conditioned cars!

Now if you are in need of inspirational reading the 'Word for Today' has been doing a series titled 'What kind of example are you.'  Each day for the last 6 days there has been teaching;

'Be an example - an overview,' 'Be an example...in...speech,' 'Be an example...in conduct,' 'Be an example...in love,' 'Be an example...in spirit,' 'Be an example...in faith.'  
The last of seven instalments is tomorrow and is titled 'Be an example...in purity.'   If you can, cast your eyes over all seven.

I am sure I've said it before but my prayer and belief is always that 'He who has begun a good work in me will be faithful to complete it.'  Amen.  It is necessary to remember that each of us are a work in progress at the hands of the Master Artisan...............................
