Footprints in the sand................

In Team Briefing this morning the Headteacher thanked us all for our support during what he described as a somewhat long and challenging term.  You know, life can be like that, challenging, testing our resolve to the max.  It can feel that we are being hit from all sides and left to our own devices we would perhaps want to just curl up into a ball and hide until the outlook was brighter.  He was right when he said the support of caring people had made all the difference.  I sincerely believe that we are not meant to exist in isolation, but to embrace outstretched arms of love from those around us.

At this time of year we are reminded of the outstretched arms of the One who loves us more than we could ever imagine and who will carry us when ever the going gets tough and for that I am thankful today (day 95).

The well known 'Footprints in the sand' sums it up succinctly:

The Lord replied,
"The times when you have
seen only one set of footprints,
is when I carried you."
Mary Stevenson

School's out and a much needed break is upon us.  Thank you Lord for Your goodness and mercy that lasts when all else fails.  Have a most blessed week-end!
